The Ride Safe Code is a simple commitment for young riders and families. It is not about taking away freedom. It is about making sure young riders understand the responsibility that comes with it.

I will not ride on main roads.

I will always wear a proper helmet.

I will not ride a modified bike.

I will not ride at night without lights and reflective gear.

I will not carry passengers.

I will not wear headphones while riding.

I will not race in communities.

I will respect pedestrians, cars and other riders.

I will make sure my parent or guardian knows my route and return time.

I will only ride where it is safe and allowed.
